Apple has been on a roll recently – what with launching the ultra-cool iPhone in the U.S. a few months ago, and now planning to take it to Europe in November, where it’ll be launched in the UK, France and now Germany.
But they’ve also been busy with the development of the all-new line of iPods. The Nano now plays video, the Video now has more space, and they’ve added touch-screen capability to a new iPod – the iPod Touch.
iPod Now Has Feelings – the iPod Touch
The new iPod Touch features built-in Wi-Fi capability, meaning that it can connect to the internet via the included Safari web browser. You can now buy and download music straight to your iPod via the iTunes store on the iPod Touch! This is certainly the future of music players…
The iPod Classic, the iPod that we’ve all come to love, now stores up to 160GB of music, video and photos, and includes a re-designed user interface (on the software) – so has the Nano.
Here’s some pictures of the new iPods:
Recently, I was at the Apple iStore in Gateway, and I asked one of the guys there when the new range of iPods will be arriving in South Africa, and he told me that it would be in around a few weeks’ time. So, I’m guessing that it’d be here very soon, and it should be around the same price as the older models. T|Z
